Hooky’s history man
Meet Hook Norton’s very own history man. Retired primary school teacher Rob Woolley, who lives in Cheshire, was awarded an MPhil from the University of Wolverhampton for his thesis, which charted the Hook Norton Brewery story from 1846 to 1913. And he has no intention of resting on his laurels. “I am working on a second volume of the history to bring it up to the present day. One day I would like to find a publisher who would publish the work,” he said.
