New guest beers for March
There’s much more to Hooky pubs than just our own brews.
Throughout March selected Hooky pubs will have the choice of two guest beers on sale for a limited period.
So look out for:
- Wadworth 6X, at 4.3 per cent ABV, is a full bodied and distinctive beer. Copper coloured it has a malty, fruity nose with a restrained hop character. The same characteristics emerge on the palate but with more intensity, leading to a long malty finish – its as tasty as a slice of fruit cake.
- Mordue Workie Ticket, at 4.5 per cent ABV, was CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain in 1997. Brewed in Shiremoor in Tyne and Wear, it is a complex tasty beer, with plenty of malt and hops and a long satisfying bitter finish.
