Maintenance work begins at Hook Norton.

The exterior of the Hook Norton brewery does not look as smart as it usually does. Scaffolding has been up to enable essential maintenance work to be undertaken on the roof of the Victorian brew house.

The work is likely to take several weeks and while it is completed the use of the brewery’s 25hp steam engine, which was installed in 1899, has been temporary suspended.
